OEFOM General Fund Contributions

Quarterly or annual contributions are just one way to contribute to the Foundation. These contributions are necessary to finance the day-to-day activities and administration of the Foundation.

As many of you know, Mrs. Lynette McLain, long-time executive director and employee of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, officially retires Dec. 31, 2015. To honor her service to the OOA and the profession, the Oklahoma Educational Foundation for Osteopathic Medicine Board of Trustees has created the Lynette McLain Osteopathic Continuing Medical Education Fund (LMOCMEF). The sole purpose of this fund is to promote and maintain ongoing osteopathic continuing medical education for practicing osteopathic physicians.

Honor Lynette's dedicated service to the profession and support the OOA's tradition of CME excellence.

OEFOM Student Scholarship Program

This scholarship program gives Oklahoma students financial assistance with their osteopathic training. You may honor or remember by means of a gift to the fund for a loved one or a friend who is living or deceased.

Annually, the Foundation hosts a fundraiser where proceeds from the event are directed to supporting the students and programs at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in areas where state funds are not available. These funds are disbursed with the approval of the OEFOM Board of Trustees.
